The mail art exchange project I’m involved with is now underway, having received my first work from Baradine Central School student, Lahni, last week. I have now posted back my second work as part of this great initiative set up by teacher, Tina Pech.
Lahni’s work gave hints about who she was through the use of materials, selected images and text. In exchange, I’m working on a small series of mixed media collage works with some underlying political concepts. Great environment for it! I’ve also been grilled by Lahni, keen to know about my background as an artist.
I’m looking forward to seeing some of the other student and artist works as we draw closer to the end of the year.
