In a week’s time I’ll be opening Studio 2 at the Fire Station Arts Centre to show visitors where things are at in the development of my new installation work.
For two hours (4pm – 6pm) on Friday afternoon, 4 October, the studio door will be open to those curious about what an artist does in the studio, what an installation is, or simply wanting to know what the inside of the intriguing Fire Station building looks like. At 5pm, I’ll be giving a brief artist talk about the work, the concepts I’m working with and how I see it all developing over the next 18 months.
My time in Studio 2 at the Fire Station Arts Centre Dubbo is a Cementa 15 residency supported by regional arts board, Orana Arts Inc.
